We are not trees
by Rip ingot a stengthening committee coming in yesterday and i lashed down the bomb.. honestly, without fear i pointed out all contradictons with reference to the july 15 watchtower,.
the first article about sheep and goats, killing the year 1914 (that was a good move) and then ressussitating it in the next article about wheat and weeds( i said this is an irresponsible writing) and attempting to re emphasize it in the rest of the following article.
outrageous, dishonest and irresponsible.

Are they a bit thick? Short term memory problems? Lazy? Iliterate? Too busy? They are supposed to be the 'shepherds', so let them write to 'Mother' to get sensible answers to relay to you. Lay a guilt trip on them if they try to weasel their way out of doing their job.
Why would you want to talk to them anyway? What good could you reasonably expect to come from it?
Would you be better to ask your wife the questions and let her do the hard work to answer them? If you do that, don't go for overload. One really good question that affects her, not you, that you already know the answer for, or trickery for, is always better than tossing the whole garbage can at a JW.

3. Father continues the mantle of SuperDub, but lets his cog. dis. hang out like a flag of honor in such a way that Mother eventually realises that they have got to be nuts to still believe this crap and spills her doubts to him.

If you have a loving wife she will respect your feelings and thoughts.
That is just wishful thinking. Relying on your family member being one of the rare few reasonable members of mind control cults after they have found out you are 'weak in the faith' just plays into the WT's hands. Every warning you ever heard the WT give about apostate spotting was heard by your family members. When the WT said what to do when confronted by opposers, questioners, apostates, etc., they were listening too. If you really want your family members out, you have to consider doing the damage while they still believe you are a trooo believer. Consider being the last one out. First out seldom works ... read the experiences in this forum if you don't believe that.

Save your conversations for people who are important to you. Don't waste them on people who are going use what you say to tell your family to treat you like a piece of shit, never to be trusted again.

by Crazyguy ini stopped going for a few months and have been real busy with work using this as a bit of an excuse to not go.
my family has gone on as if not much has changed and i feel marginalize as my family goes on and does scocial thing with the ones in the hall etc.
most of my kids are under the age of 11 and so i don't know if i tell them little things if it really sinks in anyway.

If you want your kids out of the org, you have to do it while they will still listen to you.

Atheists know more about the bible!
by Comatose ina newly minted atheist, she uses her youversion bible app to try to persuade people away from the christianity she grew up in.. .
i know of a lot of atheists who have come to their nonbelief by actually reading the bible rather than just the fluffy stories they choose to tell you about in church, she said.
reading the full story with all its contradictions and violence and sexism, it should make you think, is this really what i believe in?

Genital Mutilation - Is anyone watching this?
by Slidin Fast inuk chanel 4 " the cruel cut".
in the uk in black and asian communities female genital mutilation(fgm) or destruction of the clitoris and the labia of young girls is practised.
this horror is common in the uk, it is illegal and has been for 28 years but there has not been one prosecution.. this got me thinking.

Another side of the circumcision story is that a circumcised glans is caloused and less sensitive, therefore the ladies have more fun time before the bomb drops.
Maybe Jehovah reckoned that if the ladies had more fun with Jews, he could grow his cult faster?

I find it kind of contrary to be so well versed in something you don't believe in.
I see no reason why someone who is well versed in 'alien abduction' should believe in it. They may have a good understanding of how such a delusion comes to it's believers and I see that as an interesting reason to study the phenomena. Why were they interested in the first place? If your Dad believed alien abduction instead of the WT or Allah, Buddha, whatever, what would you be well versed in? If you studied it, would you believe it?
